Chuckwagon and Chariot Races - Cancelled for 2012

One of the most popular events ever held at the Olds Exhibition Grounds are the Chuckwagon races. The Chuckwagon & Chariot Races are cancelled for 2012. Please check back in the fall for 2013 details.

Held the first weekend after the long weekend in August. Your afternoon begins with the "Taste the Dust" All Pro Canadian Chuckwagon & Chariot Races. With a history of being arguably the most popular event at the Olds Fair & Rodeo, the races fill the grandstand, and are a great deal for families looking for terrific entertainment!

You've heard it described as the "half mile of hell". Hellish because of the blazing competition, uncertain weather conditions, and attempts to replicate the speed and audacity necessary in a working chuckwagon. Half mile because that's the distance these competitors go in their quest for victory.

Call 403-556-3770 or send an e-mail to office@oldsagsociety.com for further information.
