Having a Production or Bull Sale? Want to host a riding clinic? Check out the facilities in Olds first. The Cow Palace is the centre of activities at the fairgrounds, the main venue for livestock shows and sales, 4-H workshops and seminars, and various club meetings. The Cow Palace is 120' x 220', and is an ideal facility for activities such as machinery sales, displays, or demonstrations, and cattle, horse and sheep sales. The Cow Palace has also been used for Team Penning and Cattle Cutting competitions and clinics. Indoor wash rack facilities are available as well. Immediately north of the Cow Palace is an 8-outlet wash rack which easily services 150 head.

The main foyer is 30 feet x 70 feet, and serves as an excellent place for holding meetings, with a fully equipped concession available upon request. Display cabinets in the foyer feature trophies presented at fair-time and throughout the year by various clubs and organizations utilizing Ag. Society facilities.

The Cow Palace is ideal for machinery sales, displays, and livestock sales.

The Cow Palace was built in 1981, and at Fair-time, is home to the Dairy cattle, the only summer dairy show held in Alberta. The Facilities Operator's office is located in the Cow Palace. It becomes the office for the 4-H Alberta Agriculture Specialist and the Provincial 4-H Multi Species Judging Seminar and Competition at Fair-time.

The former Boardroom serves as a meeting room, or VIP lounge for activities held in the Cow Palace. At Fair-time, this room is transformed into the Livestock Secretary's office.
