The 2,300-seat covered metal grandstand was opened on Canada Day in 1993. In response to demands from the public, aluminum handrails were added to the grandstand, making it safe for fair patrons to climb the stairs. Storage facilities are utilized under the grandstand.

The Towns of Olds and Didsbury co-hosted the 1999 Alberta Seniors Games, and the Opening Ceremonies were held at the Olds Agricultural Society Grandstand. Over 3,000 athletes, sponsors, special guests and spectators gathered to wish the participants well. Overflow guests were seated on the racetrack infield.

The grandstand has also been used to host music concerts, RV club gatherings, the Alberta Ride for Sight and RCMP Musical Ride, and other drill team exercises. It's a great location for any family event.

The entire area is paved and wheelchair accessible. The 32' x 50' Concession Tent beside the grandstand seats about 200. A modern concession facility is available at this location.
