Olds Agricultural Society is proud to recognize the invaluable leadership of outstanding members of our community. The recipients of this new award have had significant involvement in the foundation and success of Olds Agricultural Society. They have demonstrated commitment and leadership resulting in a positive impact on the growth and development of Olds Agricultural Society.

The noteworthy recipients of this award will be recognized annually at the Chautauqua. Recipients will be selected from a public nomination process that requires the nominator to submit a written overview of the following criteria:

  • Identify and provide a brief description of family members who have or are currently serving on committees and/or the Board of Olds Agricultural Society.
  • Number of years of involvement for each.
  • Describe the nature of their contribution.

Step into the Past to Build the Future


Olds Agricultural Society committee chairs are encouraged to submit names for consideration by the Board. Primarily focused on Olds Fair & Rodeo involvement, facilitators of year round projects will also be considered. Special attention is reserved for those submissions that have developed innovative ideas or programs that result in additional revenue generation or increased attendance at the Olds Fair & Rodeo or other Olds Agricultural Society facilitated events.
