The Olds Agricultural Society is very proud of its past and present relationship with many organizations in the community, and beyond. OAS retains membership in the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies (AAAS), a provincial organization providing leadership and resources that build sustainable agricultural societies for Albertans.

OAS is also a founding member of the Olds Institute of Community & Regional Development, a partnership with the four major players in our community: the Olds & District Chamber of Commerce, Olds College, Town of Olds, and OAS. The Olds Institute encourages and facilitates community and regional economic growth and well being. One of the projects they are involved in are actively soliciting investment developers for a hotel/convention centre, or hotel and restaurant in Olds. OAS is also pleased to be a central part of Uptowne Olds, a sub-committee working to restore many of our downtown commercial building storefronts and revitalize the downtown core. The Institute is also involved in physician recruitment and retention, municipal sustainability, and fiber technology.

Olds Agricultural Society owns the land the Town's ball diamonds and soccer fields are on at the south end of OAS property, and donated the land the Olds Sports Complex sits on to the Town. Acknowledging our contribution to the community, the Ag Society is able to utilize various Town facilities throughout the year. We are proud to have a strong working relationship with the Town of Olds. Olds Agricultural Society is an active member of the Olds & District Chamber of Commerce. Volunteers with the Ag Society work alongside the Olds Fashioned Christmas Committee to host the Santa Claus Parade each year.

OAS is also a member of the Prairies to Peaks Tourism Association, and works to bring visitors to our community by hosting top-quality family events and activities year-round.
