Whether you visit a local library or museum, attend a cultural or athletic event like the Olds Fair, or participate in a conservation project, lottery fund dollars are often at work behind the scenes.

Livestock

Besides years of hosting the largest summer livestock show in Alberta at the Olds Fair & Rodeo, OAS provides facilities for livestock events equivalent to more than 800 days each year.

This includes cattle activities such as the Cattlemens Classic Bull Congress and the Spring Classic Jackpot Steer & Heifer Show, horsemanship clinics in our riding and stabling arenas, and canine training sessions and workshops. We are also proud to be the facility of choice for various 4-H clubs and youth groups in the area.

If you are looking for a place to hold your Spring Bull Sale or Fall Production Sale, we invite you to call us to book our facilities.

The Caluori Pavilion is ideal for exercising your horse, and we offer Open Pay Riding sessions throughout the winter. Team Roping is another favourite weekly activity held in the Pavilion and we are pleased to host the Team Roping Canadian Championships during the September long weekend each year. Another special service we are pleased to provide our beef and dairy breeders in the area is Age Verification, so you can ensure your cattle are ready for market. Horse Boarding is also provided in a relaxing and worry-free environment on the Ag Society grounds.

We are proud to offer facilities for the communities in south-central Alberta to celebrate the agriculture industry in our region.
