Mission of the Olds Ag Society

OAS is a leading organization in Olds, with more than 400 volunteers working throughout the year on various projects and events to better the community as a whole.Provide venue and facilitate events for our community, youth, agriculture industry and rural lifestyles.

The Olds Agricultural Society promotes awareness and understanding of agriculture's vital role in our community. OAS strives to be the 'first choice' convention, rural youth development, recreation, agriculture, entertainment facility in Alberta by exceeding client guest expectations through professional, accommodating customer service.

Business Plan, 2011-2015

Commonwealth Corporate Support Services Group; Canada Ltd and the Olds Agricultural Society Executive are pleased to present to the Olds Agricultural Society Board and Membership the 2011 to 2015 Business Plan. This plan will provide the roadmap for the Society for the next 5 years, and provides the metrics to evaluate the accomplishments of the Board, General Manager and staff in the fulfillment of the Olds Agricultural Society long term vision: “... strives to be the ‘first choice’ convention, rural youth development, recreation, agriculture, entertainment facility in Alberta by exceeding client guest expectations through professional, accommodating customer service; by offering the highest quality programs, training, facilities and entertainment with an agricultural focus year after year.

OAS Identified Values

Identified easily as #1 - Education & Growth, including Youth and Life Skills Development;
Identified easily as #2 - Providing a venue that helps Agri-Business and local producers;
