The Youth Ambassador Program awards young users of our facilities who participate in our Fair and Rodeo.Since 2001, the RBC Dominion Securities Youth Ambassador Scholarship Program has awarded young users of our facilities who participate in the Fair and Rodeo. Scholarship recipients become the Olds Agricultural Society Youth Ambassadors.

Royal Bank Dominion Securities Youth Ambassador Scholarships. An aggregate system is followed that awards youth for participating in both livestock and creative arts categories. Existing youth events for the Creative Arts, Beef, Dairy, Sheep and Heavy Horse exhibitors are used, as well as new, non-commodity specific events like marketing, team and individual problem solving and public speaking for the final selection.

NOTE: New Age Structure for 2007
Exhibitors qualify for the scholarship program from the age of 15 years up to the age of 20 as of January 1st. The top entrants advance to an interview before a panel of judges. The scoring from the interview, combined with the participation scores, will determine the winners. The scholarships must be used for educational purposes such as university, college or technical school. Short courses such as livestock judging/breeding clinics would also be eligible. Other educational options could be used subject to the approval of Olds Agricultural Society's Board of Directors.

Olds Agricultural Society encourages everyone to participate in the junior events during the Olds Fair & Rodeo. Help secure your future education with one of the scholarships being offered.
